For over a quarter of a century the Maliotis Cultural Center has conducted programs that span the entire spectrum of Greek culture, thrilling audiences and patrons with the art, science, music, and wisdom of Ancient Greece and introducing them to the traditions and accomplishments of the modern era.

The Center provides a home where all Hellenes and Philhellenes can celebrate and commemorate. It also serves as a vital connection to other institutions and organizations that share its spirit and ideals.

The Center is supported by donations from individual and community organizations, grants from private foundations, and corporate sponsorships, and revenue from the Center’s activities.

Volunteer

The Maliotis Center depends on volunteers. People who have a love for Hellenic, culture, the Greek language, Greek Orthodox ethos, and teamwork will find the Maliotis Center a rewarding place to volunteer. Become a part of our volunteer family!

Our volunteers provide valuable services to create an enjoyable experience for our patrons and guests. Whether the assignment is front-of-house with patrons or behind-the scenes, we need your expertise and smiling face. Opa!

Volunteer Ushers

Ushers play an important role for the Maliotis Center Usher responsibilities include greeting and directing patrons, assisting patrons with seating, and answering general patron questions. Coming to a show involves more than the artists’ performances and speakers’ presentations- it involves every step of the hospitality experience and a friendly, helpful usher is key to making a memorable event.

Community Event Volunteers

Representing the Maliotis Center at community events/festivals is a great way to promote us throughout our community, We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to encourage participation at the many events that are held at the Maliotis Center, If you are enthusiastic about our organization, we need your help!

Administrative Volunteers

Volunteers provide support to our administrative office in the Development, Education, Marketing, Hospitality, Maintenance, Programming, and Ticketing Departments. Office responsibilities may include data entry, scheduling appointments, filing , copying, customer service, event preparation, food services, and other duties.
