HCHC Faculty Diversity Colloquium

HCHC Faculty Diversity Colloquium

On Saturday Feb. 24, the combined faculties of Hellenic College and Holy Cross held an all-day colloquium in the Maliotis Cultural Center to discuss a draft of their proposed diversity statement. Under a generous grant from the Lilly Foundation, HCHC was pleased to bring Dr. George Hunsinger from Princeton Theological Seminary to address the colloquium, which was co-led by diversity co-chairs Dr. Stamatia Dova and Dr. Timothy Patitsas. Fr. Eugen Pentiuc, the dean of Holy Cross, offered the opening prayer, while Fr. George Parsenios introduced the speaker, who in addition to being one of the top experts in the theology of Karl Barth, also founded the National Religious Campaign Against Torture in 2006.
