March 27, 2022. MCC was honored yesterday to welcome the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Interior Mr. Athanasios Balerbas and the director of his cabinet Dr. Konstandina Karakosta to Boston and to the campus of Hellenic College Holy Cross, where they were joined by the Consul General of Greece in Boston, Mr. Stratos Efthymiou, as well as HCHC President George Cantonis, His Grace Bishop Joachim Cotsonis, MCC Director Pres. Chrysoula Kourkounti and Assistant Director Markella Patitsas, HCHC Dean of Students Fr. Michael Kouremetis, and Hellenic College Dean Timothy Patitsas. The visitors discussed future plans over lunch, toured the Maliotis Cultural Center and its new exhibit, and visited the HCHC Chapel, Administration building, and library.

Balerbas is the Secretary-General in charge of citizenship issues.
