On November 19th, 2021 the Greek School of Saint Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church in Roslindale visited the Maliotis Cultural Center. The Greek school children had the opportunity to be guided in the Greek Revolution 1821 Centennial Exhibition “The Greek Revolution Through American Eyes”.

Hellenic College student and Curatorial Assistant Nicholas Dafulas presented the exhibition, pared down for the children, and presented the Greek school students with an age-appropriate activity that helped drive home the historical and cultural implications of this exhibition. Holy Cross student Chris Katerinakis guided the children on a tour of the Center.

Congratulations to the principal, Mrs. Maria Kyriakantonaki, and to the teachers of the Greek school of Agios Nektarios: Mrs. Anastasia Sevi, Presbytera Xanthippi Zymaris, and Mrs. Beki Kamberidou, for the amazing work they do for the children of our Greek community.
