Hosted by the Office of Student Life at the Maliotis Cultural Center, our first Synaxis of 2024 welcomed His Eminence Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand and All Oceania, and watched a film on the missionary efforts in the holy Metropolis of New Zealand called “Hello Orthodox!” Following the film, attendees had the opportunity to ask further questions of Metropolitan Myron and Fr. Meletios Pantic, Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Archangels in New Zealand, and administrator of the Metropolis’s missionary efforts.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude once again to His Eminence Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand for his visit to our sacred School. The mission to the nations of New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga is vibrant, but still in its infancy. We pray that some of our students may perhaps heed His Eminence’s call to come and join him in his service to the Pacific Islands.
